What is Orivium ?

Orivium is a decentralized, NFT collection and auto battler game built on the Ethereum network and Unity. This is a play & earn game based on conquest and strategy.

The concept

The concept is simple: you have the world map split into 50,000+ hexagonal territories, each territory is a land represented by an NFT with different attributes depending on its position on the globe that you can buy and then manage to build your empire.

But you will also have to compete with other players who are also hungry for supremacy, so you better take good care of your territories by upgrading them and reinforce your army.

Why Orivium is promising

The game has a Civilization vibe, which is good: the purpose is to keep old players playing and attract new ones. So new players should still be able to beat old timers, but those who have been playing the game longer should also have an advantage.

One point differentiates Orivium from other play to earn.

Almost all play to earn are doomed to die very quickly because the revenues of the players are based on the investment of new entrants and the biggest players cash on the investment of new entrants, the fall is inevitable.

The concept of Orivium is quite different: the system of evolution is infinite, people can rise to the top but also violently fall, allowing the economy to evolve and encourage the biggest players to contribute to this redistribution. Of course you might lose, but this will depend on your strategy. Winners and losers, this helps maintaining a stable economy which lets Orivium envisage a sustainable game.
